Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Golgari graveyard and token swarm deck commanded by The Mycotyrant. The strategy centers on filling the graveyard through continuous self-mill and dredge effects, triggering the descend mechanic to produce a large army of 1/1 Fungus tokens every end step. These tokens fuel mana engines such as Cryptolith Rite and Ashnod's Altar, while drawing cards through Skullclamp and Ayara, First of Locthwain. Once a wide board is established, the deck pivots into game-ending payoffs. It closes games either by attacking with trampling buffs from Craterhoof Behemoth and Triumph of the Hordes or by converting token deaths into direct life drain via Mirkwood Bats and Syr Konrad, the Grim. Resilient recursion tools like Six, Victimize, and Conduit of Worlds ensure rapid recovery after opposing sweepers.
