New Untitled Deck by elincoln123

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Impenetrable

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Rakdos deck centers on Smaug the Impenetrable as a giant, hasty, indestructible dragon that converts every point of self-inflicted noncombat damage into Treasure tokens. The primary plan is to damage Smaug with spells such as Chain Lightning, Fire Covenant, Starstorm, or Chain Reaction, then convert the hoard into either drain triggers from Mayhem Devil/Havoc Jester/Mirkwood Bats or a huge Torment of Hailfire/Crackle with Power. Smaug the Magnificent, Magda, Goldspan Dragon, and Academy Manufactor form a secondary treasure/artifact engine. The fastest wins are two-card-ish combo lines around the commander, with dragon beatdown and artifact thresholds as backup.
