Deck overview

Braids, Arisen Nightmare is an aristocrats deck that grinds opponents down by sacrificing recurring permanents. Braids forces opponents into difficult choices: either sacrifice matching permanent types or let you draw extra cards while taking repeated life loss. The early game establishes disposable fodder such as Bitterblossom, Bloodghast, or artifacts like Ichor Wellspring to fuel continuous card advantage. As the battlefield thins, the deck transitions into drain engines with Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Bastion of Remembrance. Massive mana generators like Cabal Coffers and Crypt Ghast power out game-ending finishers including Torment of Hailfire, Exsanguinate, or infinite sacrifice loops with Pitiless Plunderer and Reassembling Skeleton.
