Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign - Sphinx Tribal by user5341122

Format: Commander

Commander: Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Unesh is the engine of a mono-blue Sphinx deck. The plan is to ramp to six mana, cast Unesh, then use its cost reduction and enter-trigger pile draw to chain Sphinxes. The main finish is Atemsis, All-Seeing: one hit on each opponent with a hand holding six different mana values wins the game. Secondary paths are evasive flying beatdown, Sharding Sphinx's Thopter army, and Stormtide Leviathan as a lock. Interaction is mostly counterspells and bounce rather than hard removal, with a few symmetrical reset effects. There is no hidden commander; Atemsis is the primary payoff in the 99 while Unesh remains the draw and discount engine.
