Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Curse attrition control deck helmed by Lynde, Cheerful Tormentor. The strategy focuses on enchanting opponents with debilitating Curses while utilizing Lynde's recursion to draw two cards whenever Curses transfer from you to an opponent. Early turns establish mana rocks and pillowfort pieces such as Propaganda and Silent Arbiter to deter incoming combat damage. In the midgame, Curse of Misfortunes acts as the central engine, automatically tutoring lethal finishers like Curse of Thirst, Curse of Bloodletting, and Cruel Reality directly onto the battlefield. Upkeep multipliers like Paradox Haze and The Ninth Doctor double both card advantage and curse triggers. Because Curses primarily target a single player at a time, the deck plays a political game of attrition, methodically eliminating opponents one by one while keeping its own life total safe.
