Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Treasure Aristocrats list piloted by Evereth, Viceroy of Plunder. The game plan revolves around generating high volumes of Treasure tokens using efficient utility creatures such as Captain Lannery Storm, Grim Hireling, and Professional Face-Breaker. Once a mana and token reservoir is established, Evereth, Viceroy of Plunder enters as a potent flying threat and sacrifice outlet, growing in power while triggering aristocrat drain effects like Mirkwood Bats, Nadier's Nightblade, and Agent of the Iron Throne. Because Evereth possesses a lethal death trigger that damages each opponent equal to its power for {1}{B/R}, opponents are pressured whether Evereth attacks or dies. The deck achieves operational assembly by Turn 4 and presents critical lethal onset around Turn 6. While resilient against standard destruction thanks to cheap recursion spells, the deck is vulnerable to exile effects and artifact sweepers due to Evereth's sorcery-speed sacrifice restriction.
