Deck overview

This deck is commanded by Rocco, Street Chef, utilizing a symmetrical impulse draw ability that turns into a heavily asymmetric advantage engine. Each time any player casts a spell or plays a land from exile, Rocco distributes +1/+1 counters and creates Food tokens. The deck converts these tokens into mana, additional cards, and overwhelming combat power through cards like Jaheira, Friend of the Forest, Academy Manufactor, and Baylen, the Haymaker. Win conditions rely on scaling large creatures with evasion granters like Abzan Falconer, executing wide overruns with Night of the Sweets' Revenge, or dealing direct damage via Shalai and Hallar and Passionate Archaeologist. Robust defensive spells like Heroic Intervention and Boros Charm keep the engine intact against removal.
