Deck overview

This Boros deck is an aggressive kindred strategy focused on Dwarves, Equipment, and Treasure tokens, led by Thorin Oakenshield. The primary game plan is to flood the board with cheap Dwarf creatures and low-cost Equipment on Turns 1 through 3. This quickly fulfills the Storied threshold to give all creatures and artifacts ward {1}. Around Turn 4, the deck deploys compounding engines such as Kíli the Resourceful, Cadric, Soul Kindler, or Fíli the Pathfinder. By Turn 6, powerful finishers like Thorin, King of Durin's Folk, Balin, Loremaster, or Dáin Ironfoot convert the mass of artifact tokens and creatures into lethal combat damage, often augmented by double strike and extra combats via Waves of Aggression. The deck trades top-tier speed and interaction for deep kindred synergy and resilient board-wide protection.
