Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black Zombie aristocrats strategy commanded by The Ghoul, Gunslinger. The plan revolves around sacrificing nontoken Zombies to trigger the commander, generating Treasure tokens and radiation counters to fuel rapid recursion and card advantage. In the early game, the deck establishes low-cost Zombie bodies and draw engines like Cryptbreaker, Undead Augur, and Skullclamp. In the mid-game, it leverages powerful tribal synergies, lord effects, and sacrifice outlets such as Carrion Feeder and Warren Soultrader to control opposing creature boards with edicts like Accursed Marauder. The primary win condition is an infinite sacrifice loop utilizing Gravecrawler, The Ghoul, Gunslinger, a sacrifice outlet, and drain effects like Plague Belcher or Ayara, First of Locthwain to drain all opponents in a single turn. Alternatively, the deck can overwhelm the table through mass reanimation spells like Rise of the Dark Realms and Bloodline Bidding, or unblockable attacks enabled by Zombie Master and Blanket of Night.
