Deck overview

This Izzet deck is built around Ovika, Enigma Goliath, aiming to convert noncreature spells into an overwhelming army of hasty 1/1 Phyrexian Goblin tokens. The early game focuses on developing mana with 31 lands and 2-to-3 CMC mana rocks like Arcane Signet and Talisman of Creativity, alongside cost reducers like Goblin Electromancer. In the mid game, the deck uses efficient cantrips and card draw such as Stock Up and Quick Study to sculpt the hand and dig for high-impact spells. Once Ovika is deployed on Turn 6, supported by innate Ward-{3}, the deck transitions into a lethal threat by casting mid-to-high CMC spells like Rapturous Moment and River's Rebuke. These spells trigger Ovika to generate massive waves of hasty tokens while Veyran, Voice of Duality doubles trigger outputs. The deck eliminates opponents through successive combat attacks by Turn 9, while relying on countermagic and targeted bounce to protect its board.
