Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This deck is a group slug and card advantage engine built around Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls. The main strategy deploys persistent passive damage pieces such as Roiling Vortex, Spiteful Visions, and Mogis, God of Slaughter to damage opponents during each of their turns. Every time an opponent loses life on their turn, Valgavoth grows larger and draws a card. This continuous stream of cards and counters overwhelms the table through collective burn and massive flying commander attacks. The secondary plan closes games through explosive life drains using Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Kaervek the Merciless, or damage-amplifying enchantments like Furnace of Rath.
