Format: Commander

Commander: Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker leads an aristocrats attrition strategy designed around creatures with power one or less. The deck sets up sacrifice outlets like Viscera Seer, Spawning Pit, and Carrion Feeder alongside disruptive utility creatures. Once Shirei enters the battlefield, you sacrifice these small creatures during every player's turn to trigger enter-the-battlefield and death abilities repeatedly on each end step. Cards like Burglar Rat and Virus Beetle quickly empty opposing hands, while Zulaport Cutthroat, Blood Artist, Bastion of Remembrance, and Syr Konrad, the Grim drain life totals across repeated turn cycles. You win by exhausting opponent resources and burning the table through continuous sacrifice loops.
