Deck overview

Sauron, the Dark Lord pilots a midrange amass deck. The primary plan is to create a single growing Army, then convert Sauron's Ring-tempt trigger into a discard-hand/draw-four engine. Saruman, the White Hand is the hidden commander, rewarding every noncreature spell with an amass equal to its mana value and granting ward to the Orc/Goblin horde. Secondary paths include Nazgul/Wraith swarms, The Great Goblin's burn, and stealing opponents' blockers with In the Darkness Bind Them. Win lines are combat-focused: a huge trampling Army, often with menace support, or a commander-damage clock. The deck is resilient in grind but slow to close, with no infinite combo or extra-combat finisher.
