Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Grixis spellslinger strategy led by Fire Lord Azula. Azula generates two red mana whenever she attacks and copies every spell cast while she is attacking. The deck leverages this ability to double the efficiency of low-cost instant cantrips, rituals, and burn spells. It converts spell casts into massive table-wide damage through magecraft and pinger creatures like Guttersnipe, Coruscation Mage, and Vivi Ornitier. To close games quickly, the deck uses a compact infinite combo between Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame, which can be executed during combat or main phase to generate infinite hasty creature tokens for a single-turn win. Supported by a robust suite of cheap counterspells, protection equipment, and velocity engines like Archmage Emeritus and Underworld Breach, the deck transitions rapidly from early board development to a decisive turn-5 finish.
