Deck overview

This Simic deck centers on Zimone, Infinite Analyst to turn spells with {X} in their mana costs into hyper-efficient threats. Zimone grows by two +1/+1 counters each time you cast your first X-spell each turn, while simultaneously discounting subsequent X-spells by {1} for every counter on it. Supported by counter-multipliers like Doubling Season, Hardened Scales, and The Earth Crystal, Zimone quickly scales discounts to massive proportions. The deck leverages this mana velocity to deploy enormous hydras, including Primordial Hydra, Goldvein Hydra, and Primo, the Unbounded, while refilling with large draw spells such as Pull from Tomorrow and Hydroid Krasis. Finish lines rely on overwhelming combat damage powered by trample enablers, Tanazir Quandrix, and Biomass Mutation. While the deck boasts strong engine recovery and compounding mana generation, it lacks dedicated tutors and stax elements, leaving it vulnerable to timely board wipes if protective spells like Mutational Advantage or Silkguard are not in hand.
