Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity mono-red devotion stompy and burn strategy helmed by Clive, Ifrit's Dominant. The primary game plan focuses on curving out red devotion permanents and mana acceleration in the early turns, setting up a Turn 4 or 5 Clive cast. When Clive enters the battlefield, it discards the hand and draws cards equal to red devotion, refilling the player's grip with fresh threats and mana rituals. The deck then pivots into overwhelming table-wide burn by combining damage doublers and triplers such as Fiery Emancipation, Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, and Twinflame Tyrant with explosive payoffs like Fanatic of Mogis, Chandra's Ignition, and Terror of the Peaks. Transforming Clive into Ifrit, Warden of Inferno provides a 9/9 fighter that ramps 4 red mana on subsequent turns. Supported by redirection spells like Deflecting Swat and big-mana engines like Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, the deck closes out games through massive, multiplied direct damage.
