Deck overview

This deck is an Esper discard-centric token deck commanded by Hashaton, Scarab's Fist. The strategy bypasses standard reanimation vulnerabilities by converting discarded creature cards directly into 4/4 black Zombie token copies from hand for {2}{U}. The list leverages cheap discard outlets, looters, and mana rocks on turns 1 through 3 to deploy Hashaton and cheat massive threats like Archon of Cruelty, Sire of Stagnation, and Astral Dragon into play by turn 4. Once established, the deck overwhelms the table by multiplying tokens with Mondrak, Glory Dominus and Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation, protecting the Zombie army with Gleaming Overseer, and suppressing opposing boards with Archfiend of Ifnir. Robust secondary plans including The Scarab God and conventional graveyard recursion ensure the deck maintains high resilience against removal.
