Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Mono-Green Stompy strategy commanded by Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The game plan focuses on rapid early mana acceleration through low-cost mana dorks, transitioning directly into over-statted 3-drop and 4-drop creatures like Steel Leaf Champion and Gigantosaurus. These dense power packages quickly satisfy Ghalta's cost-reduction ability, allowing the 12/12 trampling commander to enter the battlefield as early as turn 3 or 4 for just two green mana. The deck converts this immense physical presence into sustained card flow using power-matters draw engines such as Garruk's Uprising, Greater Good, and Rishkar's Expertise. Protection spells like Heroic Intervention and Sylvan Safekeeper defend the board against conventional removal. The endgame is executed through overwhelming team-wide pump spells including Overwhelming Stampede, Unnatural Growth, and Pathbreaker Ibex, which reliably trample over opposing blockers to eliminate all three opponents within two response cycles.
