Deck overview

This deck is a five-color midrange battlecruiser build led by Thanos, the Mad Titan, featuring an expansive roster of Marvel Heroes and Villains. Its primary game plan revolves around accelerating mana in the early turns using land-ramp sorceries and mana rocks, establishing mid-game value engines, and casting Thanos, the Mad Titan on Turn 5. By utilizing Thanos's Power-up ability to wipe odd or even opposing creatures on entry, the deck creates an asymmetric board opening on Turn 6. It then leverages heavy-hitting legendary threats—such as Doctor Doom, Red Hulk, and Captain Marvel, Earth's Protector—alongside damage doublers like Gratuitous Violence and Mjölnir, Hammer of Thor to pressure life totals across multiple combat cycles. The deck relies on high-quality standalone threats rather than fast combos, steadily chipping down all three opponents to close the game around Turn 9. While resilient to targeted threats through premier defensive cards like Teferi's Protection, its non-infinite combat strategy requires maintaining board presence across several opponent response cycles.
