Deck overview

Led by Imotekh the Stormlord, this mono-black artifact midrange deck leverages graveyard recursion, self-mill, and the unearth mechanic to assemble an overwhelming army of Necron Warrior tokens. The primary game plan focuses on establishing an early mana base with basic Swamps and artifact rocks, deploying self-mill engines such as Szarekh, the Silent King and Out of the Tombs, and casting Imotekh on curve. Once assembled, recurring or unearthing artifact creatures triggers Imotekh to flood the battlefield with 2/2 tokens. The deck translates this board presence into a decisive win through mass reanimation spells like Living Death, lord buffs from Skorpekh Lord, and colossal threats like Shard of the Void Dragon. While the deck boasts strong resilience through graveyard recursion and asymmetric board wipes like Their Name Is Death, it lacks noncreature interaction and remains vulnerable to targeted graveyard hate and artifact sweepers.
