Deck overview

This deck utilizes Atraxa, Praetors' Voice to helm a four-color midrange engine centered on toxic, infect, and counter proliferation. The game plan focuses on establishing early mana fixing and placing initial poison counters on every opponent through cheap toxic creatures or direct spells. Once Atraxa enters the battlefield on turn 4, free end-step proliferation steadily compounds poison totals and +1/+1 counters across your board. Supported by counter multipliers like Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus and Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider, the deck accelerates the poison clock while using Atraxa's formidable combat stats as a defensive anchor. Card advantage flows from corrupted payoffs and proliferate-triggered draws, keeping resources flowing into the midgame. The deck closes out matches by ticking all three opponents up to 10 poison counters over successive turns, backed by targeted removal and board protection spells to secure victory.
