Jon Irenicus GOAD by jogoo

Format: Commander

Commander: Jon Irenicus, Shattered One

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a 'bad gifts' control deck built around Jon Irenicus. The commander hands unblockable or drawback creatures to opponents, making them permanent goaded, un-sacrificable attackers that never attack you while drawing you a card each time they attack. The deck combines pillow-fort elements (Propaganda, Crawlspace, Dissipation Field) with targeted goad and theft effects to keep everyone swinging elsewhere. The primary path to victory is accumulating combat damage from multiple donated creatures, accelerated by Blighted Agent's infect and Unstoppable Slasher's life-halving, optionally doubled by Grievous Wound. It's a patient, synergistic deck that wins through attrition rather than combos, with a moderate reliance on the commander staying in play.
