Deck overview

This Jund deck is helmed by the partner commanders Abby, Merciless Soldier and Ellie, Vengeful Hunter, focusing on aristocrat sacrifice synergies, token swarms, and direct burn damage. Abby serves as an on-demand token generator on cast, providing three or more Cordyceps Infected creature tokens to fuel the board. Ellie acts as an instant-speed, zero-mana sacrifice outlet that converts creatures into direct player damage while granting herself indestructible. The deck amplifies this baseline strategy using redundant drain triggers like Vengeful Bloodwitch and Al Bhed Salvagers, explosive token multipliers like Mycoloth, and board-locking enchantments such as Dictate of Erebos. With a robust land base of 43 lands and steady on-curve ramp, the deck smoothly deploys its commanders by Turn 4, begins oppressive board attrition by Turn 5, and initiates critical damage onset on Turn 6. Opponents face relentless life loss and creature suppression, leading to a reliable table elimination by Turn 8.
