Format: Commander

Commander: Miss Highwater

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Miss Highwater helms a Mono-Black Demon Tribal deck that leans on a unique contract mechanic: opponents who take combat damage from her may discard their hand to draw seven, gaining a contract counter that later gives you token copies of all their artifacts and creatures when they lose. The deck's primary path to victory is deploying a horde of evasive, high-power Demons and leveraging life-loss multipliers like Bloodletter of Aclazotz and Wound Reflection to close games swiftly. An alternate win condition in Liliana's Contract requires four Demons with different names at the start of your upkeep. The commander is a useful value piece, but the deck's overall plan-play big Demons, ramp with Cabal Coffers and Crypt Ghast, reanimate key threats-functions at full capacity even if she never enters the battlefield.
