Deck overview

This five-color Dragon deck is built around The Ur-Dragon's eminence discount and attack-trigger card draw. The primary plan is to ramp through artifacts, mana dorks, and Dragon cost reducers, cast several large Dragons, then attack with Ur-Dragon to draw and cheat permanents. Damage is closed out by double strike, extra combat, Dragon tokens, or the Dragon Tempest/Ancient Gold Dragon burn line. A secondary path uses Call the Spirit Dragons as an enchantment win. Tiamat and Scion of the Ur-Dragon act as hidden tutor-lieutenants and let the deck function even when Ur-Dragon is never cast. The deck is a mid-speed battlecruiser with a tapped-heavy manabase, few counterspells, and only narrow protection outside Teferi's Veil and The One Ring.
