This deck is a Dimir control strategy that converts combat connections into compounding beginning-phase value. Commanded by Cyclonus, the Saboteur, the deck accelerates out equipment and enchantment payoffs during the opening turns. Once Cyclonus reaches 5 power and converts into its Vehicle form, its combat damage triggers an additional beginning phase containing an untap step, upkeep step, and draw step. This mechanic doubles all upkeep triggers from cards like Court of Ambition, Twilight Prophet, and Black Market Connections, while simultaneously untapping lands and mana rocks to leave up interaction on opposing turns. Opponents face severe hand depletion and life drain while Cyclonus continues applying evasive commander damage. Supported by efficient Dimir counterspells, spot removal, and alternate engines like Sphinx of the Second Sun, the deck systematically chokes opposing resources and closes the game across several compounding turn cycles.
