Deck overview

This Simic deck is helmed by The Astonishing Ant-Man, focusing on converting aggressive card draw into +1/+1 counters and turning those counters into a massive army of 1/1 green Insect tokens. The early game accelerates mana through efficient rocks and land ramp like Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, and Exploration while deploying draw engines such as Teferi's Ageless Insight, Rhystic Study, and Mystic Remora. Once Ant-Man accumulates counters, it removes them to flood the board with tokens, amplified by multipliers like Parallel Lives and Adrix and Nev, Twincasters. With a wide board established, the deck pivots into decisive combat finishes on Turn 5 using overrun spells like Triumph of the Hordes or Overwhelming Stampede. Supported by resilient draw engines like Toski, Bearer of Secrets and Skullclamp, the deck recovers swiftly from disruption while maintaining steady pressure.
