Marneus Calgar imperium 40k 2026 Midrange by HylianRanger

Format: Commander

Commander: Marneus Calgar

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Marneus Calgar leads a token midrange deck that wins by flooding the board with doubled tokens and turning them into cards, drain, or lethal combat. Calgar is the main draw engine - every token that enters draws a card - while Mondrak, Anointed Procession, Ojer Taq, Elspeth Storm Slayer and Kaya act as hidden commanders that double or triple output. Secondary paths are aristocrat drain with Elas il-Kor, Bastion of Remembrance and Marionette Apprentice, Treasure wins via Revel in Riches and Smothering Tithe, and Laboratory Maniac deck-out with Nadir Kraken loops. The deck runs many independent generators like Adeline, Myrel, Oketra's Monument and Black Market Connections so it still pressures without Calgar, but accelerates sharply when he sticks.
