Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Group Hug and token swarm strategy commanded by Xyris, the Writhing Storm. The primary game plan accelerates into an early Xyris deployment on Turn 4, then leverages symmetrical card draw effects like Howling Mine, Dictate of Kruphix, and Vision Skeins to flood opponents with cards while generating massive armies of 1/1 green Snake tokens. Once a critical mass of tokens is assembled, the deck closes the game on Turns 6 and 7 using explosive mass pump effects such as Beastmaster Ascension and Overwhelming Stampede, or direct burn via Psychosis Crawler. Because the deck actively fuels opponents' hands with extra cards, it plays a fast and volatile game that trades table goodwill for sudden lethal alpha strikes.
