Deck overview

Trostani, Selesnya's Voice leads a green-white tokens-and-life deck. The primary plan is to gain life from creature entries, then convert that life into bigger boards with Archangel of Thune, Lathiel, Nykthos Paragon, Crested Sunmare, and Trudge Garden. Trostani's populate ability multiplies the strongest token, while Rhys the Redeemed and Growing Ranks act as secondary token doublers. The deck can close with Halo Fountain, overrun-style attacks from Ghalta and Mavren or Blossoming Bogbeast, and an occasional huge Finale of Devastation. It is not a combo deck; incremental board growth and life triggers are the engine. The deck's hidden commander is effectively Rhys, since doubling the token army and copying it with Trostani provides the same explosive growth.
