Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Blink Control strategy commanded by Aminatou, the Fateshifter. It focuses on extracting compounding card advantage, continuous board control, and asymmetric resource denial through enter-the-battlefield abilities. The early game establishes consistent mana velocity using 12 two-mana ramp spells, leading smoothly into Turn 3 Aminatou and Turn 4 cantrip creatures like Baleful Strix and Wall of Omens. By Turn 5, powerhouses like Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines, Oath of Teferi, Displacer Kitten, and Reality Acid take over the game by shutting down opposing triggers and systematically removing opposing permanents. While the deck boasts high internal resilience, redundant flicker engines, and stax elements via Teferi, Time Raveler, it does not run dedicated fast infinite combos. Instead, it converts dominant board control into victory through steady life drain via Corpse Knight, Oath of Kaya, and incremental combat damage, typically closing games around Turn 9.
