Commander: Syr Vondam, Sunstar Exemplar

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov blink and aristocrats shell led by Syr Vondam, Sunstar Exemplar. It leverages entering and leaving the battlefield triggers by exiling, warping, and flickering utility creatures. Syr Vondam accumulates power and life whenever your creatures die or enter exile, threatening nonland removal upon its own exit. The primary game plan grinds out card advantage and token swarms via flicker engines like Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward, Teleportation Circle, and myriad effects. Games are closed out through aristocrat drain with Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim and Susurian Voidborn, recurring Gray Merchant of Asphodel, or overwhelming combat with Minthara, Merciless Soul.
