Deck overview

This deck is a competitive tempo and combo powerhouse piloted by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. The primary plan leverages cheap, evasive 1-drop creatures to activate Commander Ninjutsu on Turn 2. Yuriko bypasses the commander tax entirely while generating card advantage and dealing massive table-wide burn whenever Ninjas connect. High-cost cards such as Shadow of Mortality and Temporal Trespass drain life totals rapidly, while topdeck manipulators like Lim-Dûl's Vault, Brainstorm, and Scroll Rack stack damage on demand. The deck protects its aggressive clock with a dense package of free interaction, including Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, Mindbreak Trap, and Deadly Rollick. When needed, the deck seamlessly transitions into a compact Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation combo to close out the game on the spot.
