Kydele + Vial Smasher - Glint Eye 7 by Blackplaga

Format: Commander

Commander: Kydele, Chosen of Kruphix and Vial Smasher the Fierce

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This four-color deck pairs Kydele, Chosen of Kruphix and Vial Smasher the Fierce to establish a flexible midrange control shell with explosive combo finishes. While Kydele converts wheels and mass card draw into large colorless mana bursts and Vial Smasher applies passive chip damage, neither commander is mandatory for victory. The primary strategy centers on assembling compact Magecraft combos, notably pairing Chain of Smog with Witherbloom Apprentice or Professor Onyx to drain the entire table of life instantly. Secondary paths leverage Guile synergies with counter effects, Displacer Kitten loops, or massive mana sinks like Villainous Wealth and Exsanguinate to overwhelm opponents.
