Deck overview

This mono-black stax combo deck leverages Tinybones, Bauble Burglar to turn symmetric discard into overwhelming asymmetric card advantage. It uses dense 0-1 CMC fast mana and rituals to establish early board control through stax pieces like Oppression, Chains of Mephistopheles, and repetitive discard spells. As opponents lose their hands, Tinybones exiles their cards with stash counters, providing a vast pool of playable resources while locking adversaries out of meaningful plays. The deck transitions rapidly from resource denial into a decisive finish using an extensive suite of ten unconditional tutors. The primary win condition is the compact two-card infinite combo of Professor Onyx and Chain of Smog, which drains the entire table in a single turn through infinite Magecraft triggers. Alternatively, the deck can assemble the Bolas's Citadel, Sensei's Divining Top, and Aetherflux Reservoir engine or drain life totals with Tinybones, Trinket Thief under hard lock conditions. Resilient draw engines ensure rapid recovery.
