Golbez be balling

Format: Commander

Commander: Golbez, Crystal Collector

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Golbez, Crystal Collector leads a Dimir artifact value deck that wins by grinding incremental advantage, not by combo. Every artifact entering triggers surveil 1, and at four artifacts Golbez recurs a creature each end step; at eight artifacts that recursion also drains each opponent for that creature's power. The deck floods the board with Thopters, Myr and Constructs from Sai, Master Thopterist, Efficient Construction, Thopter Spy Network and Imotekh the Stormlord, then wins through combat with scaling threats like Master of Etherium, Kappa Cannoneer and Darksteel Juggernaut, plus drain from Tezzeret, Master of the Bridge. Mechanized Production and Mirrodin Besieged offer slow alternate wins.
