Deck overview

This is a spellslinger deck that uses Fire Lord Azula as an attack-triggered copy engine: when she attacks she adds red mana and doubles every instant or sorcery cast that combat. The central game plan is to chain rituals and draw spells on the combat step, building storm count, treasures, and graveyard density, then finish with Grapeshot, Brain Freeze, or Comet Storm. Kess, Dissident Mage is a hidden commander in the 99, providing graveyard recursion as a backup engine, while Thousand-Year Storm and Mizzix's Mastery multiply the payoff. A full suite of counters, removal, and a few protection artifacts protects the explosive turn.
