Zurgo by jflaherty2703

Format: Commander

Commander: Zurgo Stormrender

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Zurgo Stormrender is the deck's engine and payoff: every attack makes a Warrior token, and that token's end-step death draws a card. The deck floods the board with tokens, doubles or triples them with Mondrak and Ojer Taq, and converts every entry or death into life loss through Impact Tremors, Warleader's Call, Blood Artist, and allied drain effects. Secondary paths include Devilish Valet as a one-turn giant attacker and Caesar as a burst damage and token source. The commander is not a hidden combo piece; the deck is built to maximize Zurgo's attack trigger while also functioning through other token producers when Zurgo is unavailable.
