Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger and storm deck helmed by Vivi Ornitier. Vivi serves as an escalating burn engine, a win condition, and a massive mana generator. By casting noncreature spells, Vivi gains +1/+1 counters and deals 1 damage to each opponent. When combined with combat-damage/aura draw effects such as Curiosity or Ophidian Eye, each noncreature spell cast draws three cards (one from each opponent dealt damage). This card advantage engine feeds directly into cheap cantrips, rituals, and mana generators like Storm-Kiln Artist and Birgi, God of Storytelling, allowing the deck to execute a same-turn storm kill on Turn 4 or 5. Supporting pieces like Veyran, Voice of Duality and Harmonic Prodigy double Vivi's triggers to accelerate the clock, while Sigil of Sleep wipes opposing boards cleanly. Backed by cheap counterspells and uncounterable protection, the deck reliably turns spell velocity into lethal burn.
