Deck overview

This mono-blue control and stax deck is built around Teferi, Temporal Archmage, aiming to establish crushing resource asymmetry before executing an infinite combo finish. The primary win condition combines Teferi with The Chain Veil and mana-producing permanents generating at least five mana across three sources. Activating The Chain Veil allows Teferi to repeatedly untap the Veil and mana rocks, stacking planeswalker activations to generate infinite mana, draw the entire library, and win immediately through Jace, Wielder of Mysteries. Alternatively, the deck utilizes Isochron Scepter imprinted with Dramatic Reversal alongside Urza, Lord High Artificer as a potent secondary combo route. To survive and dictate the game tempo, the deck deploys potent stax pieces including Stasis, Winter Orb, Static Orb, and Trinisphere, breaking parity effortlessly via Teferi's untap loyalty ability and Urza's artifact tapping. Supported by a dense suite of artifact mana and counterspells, the deck reliably locks out opponents on Turn 4–5 and finishes decisively.
