Deck overview

This Izzet deck is commanded by Rootha, Mastering the Moment, aiming to convert high-mana-value instant and sorcery spells into massive flying, hasty Elemental creature tokens. By leveraging delve and cost-reduction mechanics on spells like Temporal Trespass, Dig Through Time, Treasure Cruise, and Volcanic Salvo, the deck cheats huge converted mana costs while spending minimal actual mana. Support creatures like Veyran, Voice of Duality, Harmonic Prodigy, Storm-Kiln Artist, and Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer compound token generation and mana production, turning single spells into overwhelming board states. Additionally, the list packs a compact infinite win condition in Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame, providing an instant-speed combo finish when combat damage is obstructed. Supported by efficient counterspells and flexible burn/bounce removal, the deck operates as a high-velocity tempo-aggro strategy capable of closing multiplayer games across Turns 5 to 7.
