Deck overview

Kuja, Genome Sorcerer is a Rakdos spellslinger burn deck that blends Wizard tribal synergy with explosive spell chaining. In the early turns, the deck uses low-cost mana rocks and rituals to cast Kuja on Turn 3. Kuja creates 0/1 Wizard tokens on your end step that deal 1 damage to each opponent whenever you cast a noncreature spell. Once you assemble four Wizards, Kuja transforms into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied, doubling all damage dealt by your Wizards. The deck rapidly converts this board state into a decisive win on Turn 5. By casting mana engines like Storm-Kiln Artist or rituals like Jeska's Will, you chain cheap card-draw spells, burn, and interaction to trigger each Wizard repeatedly. Amplifiers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, Harmonic Prodigy, and City on Fire stack multiplicatively, eliminating all three opponents simultaneously with noncombat damage. Strong interactive spells, including Deflecting Swat and Deadly Rollick, protect the engine during the decisive turn.
