Deck overview

This mono-red Commander deck pairs Ganax, Astral Hunter with Guild Artisan to establish an explosive mana engine that powers out massive Dragon threats ahead of curve. Early turns focus on establishing cheap ramp and casting Guild Artisan, setting up a Turn 4 Ganax deployment. Attacking the highest-health opponent generates steady Treasure tokens, providing the mana necessary to cast five- and six-mana Dragons every turn. The deck transitions into a lethal clock around Turn 5 using damage multipliers like Terror of the Peaks, Scourge of Valkas, Dragon Tempest, and Utvara Hellkite. High-synergy pieces such as Sneak Attack and Aggravated Assault create burst-damage turns and extra combats that overwhelm opponents. While the deck possesses explosive offensive capabilities and strong redundancy among its threats, it relies heavily on combat and artifact tokens, making it susceptible to mass creature removal and artifact suppression.
