Commander: Betor, Ancestor's Voice

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Betor, Ancestor's Voice commands an Abzan midrange deck that transforms life totals into overwhelming board presence. The deck balances life loss and lifegain to maximize Betor's end step abilities, simultaneously growing threats with plus one plus one counters and reanimating high-impact creatures straight from the graveyard. Early turns establish mana ramp and self-mill or life-payment engines like Greed and Doom Whisperer. Once Betor hits the board, massive life fluctuations cheat bombs such as Valgavoth, Terror Eater and Beledros Witherbloom into play. The deck closes games through lethal flying combat damage, Sanguine Bond drain, or high-value Bolas's Citadel sequences.
