Deck overview

This is a classic Nekusar "wheels" deck: it converts every single draw step in the pod into a life-draining clock. The deck uses symmetrical wheel effects (Howling Mine, Temple Bell, Font of Mythos, Kami of the Crescent Moon, Dictate of Kruphix, and friends) and combines them with discard punishment and direct damage pieces (Underworld Dreams, Spiteful Visions, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse). While not a true stax deck, it drags the game into a mid-game lethal window where each single draw costs life, starting as early as turn 3-4, ending in a poison/combat damage kill that kills the whole table simultaneously, usually in turn 5-7. It is a highly interactive and linear draw engine, with the commander serving as both the engine and the fuel.
