Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-Red Dragon Midrange build centered on Magda, the Hoardmaster. The core strategy revolves around leveraging cheap, targeted direct damage and removal spells to reliably commit crimes on both your turns and opponents' turns. Each crime generates a tapped Treasure token, which can be stockpiled to accelerate high-cost Dragon bombs or converted directly at sorcery speed into 4/4 flying, hasty Scorpion Dragon tokens. As the midgame progresses, heavy aerial threats such as Terror of the Peaks, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and Bonehoard Dracosaur amplify damage output and establish an overwhelming board. While the deck boasts exceptional spot removal against opposing creatures and artifacts, it carries standard mono-red vulnerabilities, including a complete lack of enchantment interaction, minimal stack protection, and reliance on creature combat to close out the table across multiple turn cycles.
