Deck overview

King of the Oathbreakers leads an evasive Orzhov Spirit tribal deck that turns defensive phasing into an overwhelming army of flying tokens. The commander grants inherent protection to your Spirit creatures by phasing them out whenever they are targeted by spells, replacing removal with free token generation upon their return. You build an evasive board through efficient token generators like Lingering Souls and Thalisse, Reverent Medium, multiplied by Anointed Procession and Mondrak, Glory Dominus. Once a critical mass of ethereal flyers is assembled, close out the game through explosive overruns with Moonshaker Cavalry, massive buffs from Mirror Entity, or the alternate win condition on Halo Fountain.
