Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Aura-control and theft strategy helmed by Eriette, the Beguiler. The game plan revolves around casting low-cost Auras and attaching them to opposing permanents with equal or lower mana value to steal control of key threats. Cost-reducers like Killian, Ink Duelist and Danitha Capashen, Paragon accelerate deployment, while enchantress engines such as Sram, Senior Edificer and Kor Spiritdancer maintain card velocity. Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist provides a repeatable free method to shift Auras onto opposing creatures at combat, continuously triggering Eriette's theft ability. The deck transitions into a lethal clock by turning stolen creatures against their owners, stacking power with All That Glitters and Mantle of the Ancients, or draining life totals through Eriette of the Charmed Apple. Defensive Auras like Shielded by Faith and Curator's Ward protect Eriette, while Sphere of Safety shuts down counterattacks.
