Commander: Smaug, Wicked Worm

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos artifacts-and-Treasure deck built around Smaug, Wicked Worm. Smaug's role is twofold: an ETB burst that scales with opponents' artifacts and a draw engine that rewards spending Treasure mana on spells. The primary plan is to self-produce Treasures through pirates, death triggers, Gadrak/Mahadi, and equipment, then convert them into table-wide drain with Marionette Apprentice and Disciple of the Vault. Secondary lines are evasive Dragon beats with Scourge of the Throne extra combat and artifact-powered beaters like Nim Shrieker and Cranial Ram. Lagomos acts as a hidden tutor after creature deaths. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through repeated value loops and combat.
