Toph grull by spicyonion

Format: Commander

Commander: Toph, Greatest Earthbender

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Gruul deck builds an army of animated lands and uses Toph, Greatest Earthbender's double strike to turn them into fast, hard-hitting attackers. The commander is the engine and payoff: her ETB makes a hasted land creature, and every later land creature attacks for double damage. Secondary plans include Inkmoth Nexus poison behind double strike, and a landfall/Kodama engine that generates huge mana and repeated earthbends. There is no hidden commander; the many Toph variants, Bumi, and Avatar Kyoshi are support legends. The usual finish is a multi-creature combat turn, sometimes doubled by Bumi, Unleashed's extra combat.
